The Roaring Twenties were times of prosperity, exhileration and experimentation. The old of the world was fading quickly and the new was coming in with a vivacious roar. The flaming youth returned from the horrors of World War I with their new slang, flappers, shorter dresses and more daring attitude that elders looked upon as sinful. The Roaring Twenties were also filled with gangsters such as Al Capone & Bugs Moran & the g-man. This colorful era will always be remembered for its new daring ways and its swinging jazz that was the cat's meow! |
