| Hello, My name is Rob Pelletier, I am an affiliate with Against Drunk Driving (ADD) which is based out of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. I have been an affiliate with ADD since 1995. I began my interest with ADD when I was in training to become a correctional officer at Sault College in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario in 1992-1994. What struck me to become an affiliate was the fact that I seen many videos depicting the results of drunk driving while at Sault College. I also attended many forums geared toward drunk driving and thus it created even more of interest to me. I am originally from New Brunswick, Canada. I began to notice more the problems of drunk driving not only in my hometown but also in the Province itself. So I felt would take the initiative and work along side with ADD, various police forces, and various organizations to develop an awareness program in my hometown as well within my Province. Up to date, I have completed various seminars to youth groups and driver education groups. I have also held an information kiosk in partnership with the New Brunswick Department of Transportation at the Grand Falls Shopping Centre. It was very successful and the patrons of the mall really enjoyed the awareness as my hometown doesn't see much activity in relation to this topic. So what is it that I can do for you? Well I have an ample amount of information in the form of pamphlets and brochures as well I have various contacts in Canada that may be able to help you by providing information to you. I also provide seminars on drunk driving for FREE!!! I do not believe that this specific type of information is something that needs a profit made of it. I may also have another kiosk in a community sometime soon. My next seminar will be held on Sunday, March 20th, 2000 at the Student Union Building (Rm 103) at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB for the UNB Student Campus Police. I am the Assistant Chief of the UNB Student Campus Police and we often run across many impaired drivers on campus and it would be good for my staff to become more fully aware of all the consequences involved with drunk driving.
