Sailor Venus is the princess of the planet Venus and has the power of love and beauty.
Aino Minako is a very playful and social girl. She's really klutzy, boycrazy, and dizty, so obviously she's a lot like Usagi :) Minako is very talented at playing volley ball and unlike Ami, Makoto and Usagi, she went to Shibakouen Junior High School instead of Juuban Junior High School for the first 4 seasons. In Sailorstars, she gets accepted into Juuban High School with Ami, Makoto and Usagi.
Minako is a lot like Usagi like I said. In a lot of episodes, they do the exact same things (see the S episode when they stalk Haruka!). But she is different than Usagi in a few ways. She is not a crybaby and speaks English very well.
Sailorvenus was the second Sailor Senshi (Sailorpluto was a Senshi a while before her). Before she joined the rest of the inner senshi in Japan, she was fighting crime in England for a year going as SailorV, who is Usagi's hero. There is (in the Anime and manga) a SailorV manga, SailorV video games, movies, a SailorV anime and lots more merchandise (which I wish they sold /(-.-)\) Outside of the Sailormoon world that we love to live in, the SailorV manga was created before Sailormoon. SailorV was Naoko Takeuchi's first Sailor Senshi which she based the personality of on herself. Minako has her own talking cat, Artemis who is a boy despite his feminine name (Artemis was the goddess of the moon in Greek Mythology.)
As Sailorvenus, she was the last to join the inner Senshi (well, Chibimoon joined after her, but that was two seasons later). Her attacks have to do with gold and light and she is the leader of the Inner Senshi. Either she or Mars is probably the most powerful inner senshi (excluding Moon).
