Hotaru is a quiet, bright and charming little girl. She lives with her father, Professor Tomoe, and her mother died in a fire when she was very young. Hotaru attends Minato-ku Juuban Elementary School, in Tokyo. She loves helping people, and someday, she hopes to become a nurse. Of course... there's more to her story than this(sit back-this could take awhile^_^).
When Hotaru was young, her father allowed her to come to his lab for a day and watch him work. Unfortunately, there was an accident and Hotaru was killed. Distraught, Professor Tomoe pleaded for his daughter's life and ended up making a deal with an evil force to bring Hotaru back. Hotaru and her father were both posessed by beings who used them for their purpose-to release the entity known as Pharoh 90. However, Professor Tomoe and his daughter appeared normal in every day life. Hotaru grew and eventually attended Mugen Gakuen High School, along with Michiru and Haruka. She devloped a strange ability to heal others' wounds, which made her seem 'gross' to other students and also made her weaker. This reputation caused Hotaru to have no friends. After awhile, the entity inhabiting Hotaru's body(Mistress9) discovered that Hotaru was the Sailor soldier of Saturn. Mistress9 took control of Hotaru's body and mind whenever she transformed and used the incredible power of Sailor Saturn to fight her battles. This made Sailor Saturn an enemy to the other Sailor soldiers. Eventually, just before the release of Pharoh 90, the Sailor soldiers confronted Mistress9 and Hotaru succeeded in reganing control of her body and mind--as well as Sailor Saturn's. Mistress9 and Pharoh 90 were defeated at the cost of Hotaru's life. Luckily, Super Sailor Moon was able to reincarnate Hotaru as a baby and give her a second chance. Baby Hotaru was placed into the care of Sailor Neptune(Michiru) and Sailor Uranus(Haruka) until her father (also free of evil influence) regained his health. When another force threatened the Earth, Sailor Pluto had to speed up Hotaru's growth so she could become Sailor Saturn and help defend the planet. It was Sailor Saturn's powers that transformed the Outer soldiers(Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, Sailor Pluto and Sailor Saturn) into their 'Super' forms, making their attacks stronger.
Now, Sailor Saturn is around Sailor ChibiMoon's age and naturally bonds with her. As (Super)Sailor Saturn, Hotaru has power over death and silence. Hotaru and ChibiUsa(Sailor ChibiMoon) have become good friends not only because they are the same age, but because while Hotaru was in high school, ChibiUsa was the first to befriend her.

Mistress9
Mistress9 was the evil being that corrupted Sailor Saturn's soul and turned her against the other Sailor soldiers. Mistress9 had Professor Tomoe lead the DeathBusters in hopes of releasing the entity known as Pharoh 90, who had dreams of conquering Earth. However, all of these naughty people were stopped and Sailor Saturn and the other Sailor soldiers kissed and made up. The end^_^.

Powers/Transformations
Saturn Planet Power Make Up
All right...I'm not really sure that Hotaru uses this particular phrase to transform into Sailor Saturn. But then, I've never heard of the one she does use-I just know she transforms. I just went with the pattern established by the other Outer soldiers' transformation phrases.

Death Reborn Revolution
This is Sailor Saturn's attack that destroys all life on Earth. Gee...I wonder why she hasn't used it all that much....

Silence Block
This isn't really an attack, Sailor Saturn just uses her Silence Glaive to create a wall of energy to protect her and others.

Items
Transformation Stick
Does she have a transformation stick? I have no clue, but it would make sense, don' t you think? I find it hard to believe that every single other Sailor soldier has a transformation stick, and Saturn doesn't. Oh well, if she has one, she uses it with her phrase to transform into Sailor form.

Silence Glaive
This is the huge weapon you see Sailor Saturn carrying around(basically it's a big knife on the end of a big stick). It is usually used in her attacks but can also be used on it's own, as it can cut through anything.
