You can help save a pet's life by going to the bottom of this page to the LINKS!!! box and click the first link under SAVE A PET.I made a page on 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com, to help spread the word of the fate of these poor animals unless we do something! I have a goal that I set to raise $500 to help needy pets. Please help me reach my goal by donating today! Every penny counts!
You don't have to donate to help these pets. You can also help spread the word of the website (1-800-Save-A-Pet.com) by e-mailing friends and family and asking them to do the same. You can also volunteer to do many things, like cleaning cages, playing with and grooming the animals, taking photos of the animals to have them put online, becoming a foster parent to a homeless pet to give it a temporary home until they find a permanent home for him or her, and many other things. Please check out the website for more information.
There are around 7 million pets dying each year by euthanization (being put to sleep) because they aren't adopted in time. It's not fair! It's not their fault that they're unwanted! There are hundreds and more likely even thousands of pets to be adopted at 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com all over the country. Please help them and consider adopting one of these guys and gals if you are wanting a new dog or cat. Please look for larger dogs too. Most people only want to adopt small dogs because they are tiny and cute, but big dogs are just as cute and can give just as much love! A lot of larger dogs don't hardly even get looked at because people are always searching for small dogs. Poor Doggies! The older cats and dogs as well as those with special needs deserve a good home just the same! Think about it. Those cute little kittens or puppies will one day grow up to be just like the older animals and will possibly even become one who has special needs.
There are also going to be a few other pet adoption sites in the links section. Please, check it out!
