This page is dedicated to the great men in yellow and purple, the Los Angeles Lakers. They are, in my opinion on a par with the Celtics as the greatest NBA franchise ever. The Laker franchise has won NBA Championships in the 50's, 70's, 80's, and the new Millennium. On top of that they were the second best franchise in the 60's. They have had some of great NBA players of all time: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, George Mikan, Elgin Baylor, Jerry West, Shaquille O'Neal and who knows? Kobe could be there soon with a few more rings. I say this (who knows? Kobe could be there soon with a few more rings) despite the fact that Elgin Baylor never won a championship with the lakers and Jerry West only won one.
