| Hi guys and gals!!! Welcome to fantasy land. The star has arrived (or wannabe as others as some others may put it, but it's all GOOD). Sit back & settle in. Everybody get your roll on. You're going for a trip around the world. I like excitement, boredom makes me SICK. Ya heard. PERSONAL INFO: Name: Desiree Birthplace: Charlotte,Nc, USA Birthdate: April 24, 1971 Height: 5'4" Weight: 110 lbs Marital status: Single (And free to mingle. COME HERE BOYS!!) My ideal man is: Intelligent, has a sense of humor, is spiritual, likes to dance, attractive, has a nice personality, his own money ( I don't like having to support a grown man. I am NOT materialistic. I can make my own money). FAVE COLOR: Purple (Hmmm. Go figure. Look at the writing on this site.) LIKES: Poetry, Spirtuality, Beaches, traveling, family, food, church DISLIKES: Stupidity, Ignorance, Violence, Racism, romantic movies (They bore me. Somebody wake me up), underwear (I'm not going to go into an explanation, but i do wear it/them so don't panic). DREAMS & ASPIRATIONS: To be the most downloaded woman on the net, to become famous, to make a decent salary, to fight for civil & religious rights. DUMBEST THINGS I'VE EVER DONE: We all do dumb things. Here are some of mine: 1. Hangin' out with a guy from America's Most wanted back in 1994. Believe me, I did NOt know. I didn't have a tv at the time. Who knew. He fooled everyone. 2. Inviting strange men to my apartment (Ok, I know this was dangerous, but I was young & stupid at the time. I have learned my lesson. UNKNOWN FACT: I've been celibate now for 2 years now. This is not a lie. It can be done. I'm Not a whore & i respect my body. I'm waiting for a marriage now. ACCOMPLISHMENTS & FAILURES: When i was younger, I was very active in many things. I was playing the piano around 6 or so. i also played the violin. I was pretty good at the piano. But by the age of 8, I gave it up, b/c i grew tired of it. i was also a cheerleader around the same time. Again i grew tired of that too. I sang in the School Chorus at 14 & the church choir as well. i took tap dancing & jazz at 15. I was chosen as a contestant for the Miss Teen All-American Pageant in 1985. Later in 1996, I was chosen a contestant for the Miss Petite America Pageant. i never went to the pageants, b/c it costs alot of money for a coach, gowns ,etc. As a joke, i went to a few modeling agencies & got accepted, but I didn't have the money for classes so that didn't work out either. So you see, I have done quite a few things in my life. I wish i could've stuck with a lot of them. Money was a problem for a lot of times. i really regret giving thigns up like this now. I could've been famous by now. As a child, i also wanted to be. I just chickened out. Also, people told me i was living in a dream world. "Get back to reality", they said. But, if people followed this advice, there would be no celebrities or succesful people, period. My advice to all: FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS. DON'T LET ANYONE/ANYTHING HOLD YOU BACK. WHY I THINK I'D MAKE A GOOD ROLE MODEL: As you know, I'm always striving for success. I've always wanted to be famous since i was a kid. Maybe,I will be. I'm trying to get some of my work published. Today, there aren't many good role models for our youth. The celebrities, especially females, look and act sleazy I won't name any names). Many have no talent whatsoever, as long as they're beautiful and look like whores. Seriously, whenever you see them on a show or in a magazine, women wear next to nothing. They may as well be nude. It's like what street corner did you come off of. Please. Anyway, I am attractive, but also college educated. Looks fade after a while. I want people to see me and the work i do as an inspiration for everyone. Enough said. LESSONS I'VE LEARNED: 1. Alcohol is NOT your friend. 2. One should follow their dreams. 3. If you don't have anything interesting to say---SHUT UP!! 4. you can't make someone love/like you no matter how successful, attractive, nice you are. 5. Treat others the way you would like to be treated. 6. Take responsibility for your own actions. 7. Maintain good credit history. HELLO AGAIN, GUTEN TAG, HOLA!!!!! Long time no see right?! Sorry, I've been stressed by working these weird shifts for the past 7 or so months. I'll be popping in to update the site every now & then. Now, I'd like to give my condolences to R&B singer & actress Aaliyah's family, friends, & fans. She will be deeply missed. She was a great inspiration to many of us. May she rest in peace. Just remember people to live life to the fullest, because you may never know which day will be you last. I'd like to say a special hello, Guten tag to my friends at friendfinder.com Euro chat room, especially: Kojo, Geeb, Mariod, Thueli (in my red bikini,lol)! I'd like to bid my condolences to the families of the victims in the terrible terrorist acts of Sept. 11th. May they rest in peace. The war is never over, we must combat terrorism with prayer to God. Alot of wars are fought because of hatred & ignorance. This does NOT have to happen. Everyone get a grip & love not kill. I'd like to give shoutout to the people in the armed forces, especially the wounded ones. Keep your heads up! First of all, I'm an ex-Air Force chick. I've been out of the AF for 10 yrs. It's a doggone shame that a lot of vets aren't getting the care they need. Is this the thanks they get for serving their country? The government needs to get on the ball and do their job.
