Stephen Miller Dees and Christina Lynn Mathena

Christina and I are moving to Los Reyes, Mexico on August 10th to teach English at Culturlingua. Culturlingua is a private school where Mexicans of all ages come to learn English from native English speakers from all over the world. We plan to stay and teach for two semesters while enjoying the culture and learning Spanish.

The purpose of this website is to keep you informed of our experience in Mexico. The page will periodically be updated with pictures and will always contain a calendar so you'll know when we'll be coming and going.

Our first plan of action when we return is our wedding set for September 2, 2006. Right now it looks like the wedding will be in Wilmington, NC at the seasonal church of St. James on the water. When I return, I'd like to teach for a year and then go back to school to get a Master's of Arts in Spanish Lit and Language, that is if my spanish is as good as I hope it will be! Christina is still considering many career options, but has settled with not pursing a J.D. in Law.
