Once you add a product you can customize it by adding options. Options can be things like size, color, etc. You can create options which affect the price of a purchase.
Tips:
The simplest way to learn to use product options is by experimenting with them and viewing the results by clicking Preview Form on the Edit Product page.
An option will not display on the order form unless at least one value has been created for it. For text and readonly-text types you can use "dummy" as the value. The value can also be something meaningful and set as default so it shows as the initial value of the option.
Additional Form Text will appear on the order form but not in the shopping cart. You can use this field to provide instruction or explanation for an option. |
