FST Transport is designed to provide a service to businessess large and small and the general public.

The service offered is basically transportation as follows:-

1) Collecting and delivering vehicles upto 4 tonne that have been purchased or sold, for example on ebay or the local press.

2) 24 hour recovery service for the general public.

3) 24 hour recovery service for small businessess and fleets.

4) Recovering unwanting vehicles and MOT failures.

5) Collecting and delivery of items that have been purchased or sold, for example on ebay or the local press. For smaller items we aim to deliver next day.

6) Courier services available.

FST Transport is located in a small market town of Barnard Castle in the South-West corner of County Durham. We are only a few miles from both the counties of North Yorkshire and Cumbria. The A66 just outside of Barnard Castle joins both the A1 and the M6 and only 1 hours drive from the Scotish border. Ideally placed for transpotation anywhere in England and Scotland.

I'll make it simple, for example, you've purchased a vehicle on ebay. It has no road tax therefore it can't be driven legally on the public highway. The vehicle needs collecting from A and delivering to B. The journey mileage is 100 miles for the collection of the vehicle, plus the mileage from my premises which is 50 miles which equals 150 miles so therefore our price to you would be £120 which consists of fuel, labour, ware and tear, V.A.T and the 50 mile return home leg.

For the delivery and collection of vehicles our standard mileage rate equals 80 pence per mile.

For our 24-hour recovery service our standard rate equals £30 per call out plus 80 pence per mile.

Courier service available at negotiable prices depending on weight and destination.
