This is a new website, which in time, is hoped will give support to family and friends of anyone in the gay community, especially in the Gloucestershire area. Welcome We would like to offer support and friendship to anyone who is coming to terms with their sons/daughters, sisters/brothers, nephews/nieces sexuality. We believe that everyone should support their family, at what can be a hard time when 'coming out,' and hope that in time this website can be of help for those who sometimes have problems with this. Our own daughter is gay, and we are proud of her, and of how she copes with the problems she encouters from day to day, both from workmates, socially, and in her eveyday life. Introduction We understand that sometimes it takes a while for 'newly outed' parents to come to terms with what some of them find hard to understand, but hopefully through this site,we and any others who decide to join us can help to make life easier for them and for any other members of their family.We believe that too many gay and lesbian children and grown-up are deprived of the support of their family for many reasons, from 'what will the neighbours say' to their parents or grandparents prejudices, which have been taught to them by maybe their parents.
