Well, since (If you didn't notice) the last time I wrote was in March of the good ol' 99. I'll give you a little review of everything that's happened to me in the past months instead of full diary entries. And, trust me, a LOT has been happening.
APRIL
Nothing really happens in April. It's the time to kick back and relax. You know, enjoy spring! Tulips start to pop up all over the place, the snow starts to melt ('Cause in Western New York, all it ever does is SNOW!), and you realize that (Thank you God!), school is going to be ending soon. I know, I know, I say I have this huge interesting story of the last nine months for you and I start it off with "Nothing really happened this month. Well, trust me, next month it gets better!!!"
MAY
Okay, I'm all for female empowerment and stuff but eventually, you got to talk about guys. Well, I have a REALLY, REALLY good friend who's a guy and I went to see him in this play - three times. Okay, okay, it was a REALLY, REALLY good play. Well, where I was there I saw this guy (He played the cat) and he was just the cutest little thing I've ever seen in my life. So, yes, I became completely obsessed with him. Don't ask how that happened. It just did. There are a couple down points though. He's twenty-five and he's gay. But other than that, we could have a wonderful relationship (REALLY, REALLY!).
JUNE
The first time I actually talked to Adam (Yes, that's his name - Adam). You see, we went to one of his plays and there was this reception afterwards. So, I spent the entire reception pacing and mummbling to myself trying to decide what to say to him. Unfortunately, I spent so much time mummbling and pacing that he waltzed right out the door without my saying a word to him. A little white later, my mother and her friend waltzed out the door and I sauntered somberly. Fortunately, I sauntered right into someone standing outside on the patio...
JULY
I gave Adam a check for a rediculous amount of money for his theater company. We actually talked for about three minutes. Yes, yes, I'm definitely working my way up in the world... And, oh yeah, he said "hi" to me for the first time without my having to say "hi" to him first. Every little bit counts!
AUGUST
I got home, pressed my answering machine button, and there was a message from Adam! Yes, a message from ADAM! It was the cutest little thing! And he left his HOME PHONE NUMBER too! He asked me to call him back because he wanted to know what name to put in the patron section of the program since I gave him that rediculous check last month. So I got to talk to him on the phone for the first time. How sweet!! Plus, there was a play that month that I couldn't go to since you had to be 18 or over so that sort of sucked but that was basically it. |
