World Baseball Classic news The World Baseball classic is here. And, the US has been lucky. When they lost to Canada, it was a win and they would be in. Or lose and go home. When we lost to Canada in the WBC, it was embrassing to be a US fan. I can understand losing in hockey. But we lose to minor leaugers and A-rod should be making more than half of the Canadian roster. So, I wish the best of luck to the red white and blue.  But, that luck might run out? It seems our luck did run out. On friday we lost to nexico 1 to 2. Which means we are out of the WBC. We here at the JCL Sports Zone Wish the US roster the best of luck in the 2006 MLB season. The WBC may be over for the US, but the World Baseball Classic Championship will be Japan v.s. Cuba.

Around the NFL This week has been one of the most hectic weeks in NFL history. Bunches of players were cut. Daunte Cullpepper is no longer a Viking. He got traded to the Miami Dolphins for a 2006 second round draft pick. And Drew Brees is now a saint his contract is 6 years and his pay is 60 million. And the Eagles cut T.O. after a 2 year roller coaster with philly. And Cowboys WR Keyshawn Johnson has been cut also. It looks now that K.J. is out and T.O. might be in?

Razorback Pig Trail The Arkansas Razorbacks has had a good year. But, sadly, we lost to Bucknell 55-59 in Dallas.

Sports News Now it's offical, T.O. is now a Dallas Cowboy. Terrell has signed a 3-year 25 million dollar contract with Dallas. We at the JCL Sports Zone Wish him the best of luck
