Well, I have not been too faithful of writing - but a lot has been going on. We went down to Denver yesterday for my chemotherapy treatments with the huge leg shots. My brother drove us down there. It has been nice having him around. :-) We returned to the hair place in the square today. My hair is very rapidly falling out now - but I am not too upset. The wig that the lady at the hair place ordered is just wonderful! It is almost my hair color - and it even has some curl to it! Well, I think I will go rest now. Maybe more later.

My it has been a long time since I last wrote! Treatments are going well, as usual. I am on an extremely high dose of steroids. 270mg a day! It is only for a week, thank goodness. I did many things today - everything from a walk to cello practice to piano practice. I am quite proud of myself!

It has been awhile since I have written, I know. Things just get so busy, and I forget to write! I have had one or two hospital stays since the last time I wrote. We have made it to the last page of my treatment now, and that page will just keep repeating itself. I was supposed to have a treatment this week, but my counts were too low. I went to have some blood drawn at the lab today, I had a nice woman, and she kept talking to me. They have come to know me as a regular customer there. Well, I must get back to my studying now. It has been very hard to keep up my schooling with the chemo.

It has been a long time since I last wrote. Chemo is going as well as it could be. I am into the maintenance phase now, which is the last page of treatments. It is a six-week cycle which I just keep repeating for six times. I am about to begin the second of these six times. Each time begins with a spinal tap and a big bunch of pills, which is not too fun. The big bunch of pills is the steroid, which I hate with a passion! Also, the chemotherapy pills which consist of 11 1/2 pills every night for four consecutive nights. I feel good today. Just tired, as I usually am.
