1/19/02 Hi. I've got some news. There's 4 more days until Confessions of a Dangerous Mind opens, but I've already seen it. It's really, really good. By the way, the We Love Julia Roberts fansite has changed its URL address from www.maxpages.com/juliaroberts to www.juliaroberts.tk, although you could still access us from maxpages.com. And congrats to Julia for winning the 5th (and 4th consecutive) People's Choice Award for Favorite Motion Picture Actress on January 12th. 12/27/02 I am REALLY REALLY sorry about the HUGE lack of updates. These were taken from the IMDB: Julia Roberts To Marry at July 4th Party? Actress Julia Roberts is planning to marry her cameraman lover Daniel Moder on Independence Day this week, it has been claimed. The Pretty Woman star is said to be planning a 'white linen party' at her Taos, New Mexico ranch - and as she is flying in 50 guests from Los Angeles and Moder has insisted on the presence of his parents, who had previously opposed the coupling, it is believed their nuptials will take place then. A source in British newspaper the Daily Mail says, "Danny has told his parents they must be at the party and everyone is expecting there to be a wedding. They have always said they wanted to get married as soon as Daniel's divorce was sorted out and Independence Day seemed like a good idea. Danny's parents were initially opposed to his relationship with Julia because they liked and respected his wife Vera. Eventually they have accepted that he and Julia are in love and that they are getting married." Bratt Confesses Reasons Behind Roberts Split Speaking of Julia Roberts, her ex-lover Benjamin Bratt has revealed the real reasons behind his split from the Hollywood beauty - he hated the constant attention. The couple dated for four years, before splitting last year. Bratt married actress beau Talisa Soto in a surprise wedding in April. The hunky star says the constant media attention that came with being involved with the superstar actress finally got to him. Bratt says, "It's like a fly that won't leave you alone. It's that mosquito that buzzes in your ear when you're trying to sleep at night. You turn the light off and it comes back again. It's constant and ever present and it disrupts any chance of peace." And the actor admits, Roberts herself tired of the attention. He adds, "When you live your life at that level of fame it gets beyond your control. I updated news. 5/5/02 I'm REALLY sorry for the big lack of updates, but we're still moving and access to a computer is pretty hard. There's not too much news, so I'll just put it here, rather than the news page. First, Ocean's 11 will be released on video and DVD on Tuesday (5/7). Second, Full Frontal has been pulled from the Cannes festival. And finally, Julia will be making an appearance on the Rosie O'Donnell show May 10th. Also, the Full Frontal teaser is finally out, attached to Hollywood Ending and The Scorpion King. It doesn't show anything, you just hear the cast talking. I have the link, but I can't find it right now. So click here 2/28/02 Hey, sorry for the lack of updates, but today, I have sad, horrible news. FULL FRONTAL's release date has been pulled back a couple of months. The official press release says that it will be released August 2nd. Here's what they have to say: Miramax Films has slated Steven Soderbergh's new film "Full Frontal" to open on August 2, 2002 -- some 13 years after his debut, "sex, lies, and videotape," broke out in theaters and helped change the landscape of independent film. "We were set to come out in March and then Miramax came to me with the idea of an anniversary opening, which I found pretty appealing," Soderbergh said. "This is in large part because, if I were to make 'sex, lies, and videotape' today, 'Full Frontal' is very much the form it would take." "Full Frontal" stars David Duchovny, Nicky Katt, Catherine Keener, Mary McCormack, David Hyde Pierce, Julia Roberts and Blair Underwood. Set in Los Angeles, it's the story of seven people with very little in common who are about to come together in a way they never expected. Like "Day For Night," this is a movie about movies for people who love movies. "Full Frontal" is written by Coleman Hough and produced by Scott Kramer and Gregory Jacobs. "'sex, lies, and videotape' was a pioneering film that helped define Miramax's taste and commitment to independent film and the filmmaker's vision," said Harvey Weinstein, co-chairman of Miramax. "What I love most about "Full Frontal" is that it continues this tradition, but takes it in new directions that reflect Steven's passions and undeniably wide-ranging talents. Also, on the subject of release dates, MONA LISA SMILE should be released on July 25th 2003. Production is scehuled to start in late 2002 or early 2003, as Mike Newell, who has signed on to direct, will be doing The Runaway Jury first, filming in early/mid 2002. 1/31/02 Hi, just to tell you that the Full Frontal site is up, and improved. www.fullfrontal.com, It's weird, to say the least, but cool. Not really news, just release dates and links for Full Frontal and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. Full Frontal will be release March 8th, and Confessions will be released November 22. Please note that these dates might be changed for an earlier or later date (hopefully earlier.) And the Full Frontal is sort of up. It only has "tips" if you're considering a role in the film. I first reported that the ending was slightly dissapointing. Unfortunately, it's that they didn't show us the WHOLE ending. It was much better. We get to see Julia's smile (another wrong thing I mentioned. Julia does give her 20 million dollar smile.) Like always, I highly recommend this movie. 12/10/01 Hey everybody. Updated news. Included are official pictures of her and her new boyfriend, Danny Moder. :-( 12/9/01 Hi. Like I reported the other day, I won tickets to a special viewing of O11. It was really good. I give it 6 stars out of 6. The cast was great, the script was fun, there was alot of action going on. The ending was slightly dissapointing. I read the book, and it's ending was better. Julia didn't have much screen time, but everytime she was on the screen, she was great! The only thing I didn't like was that she didn't give her "1 Million Dollar smile." I highly recommend it. They were giving out hats, bags, the soundtrack, but I didn't get anything. :-( It's allright. Updated news. 12/3/01 Hey. Guess what?
