Quinhagak 4-H Club is a Fly tying and Fly fishing Club for the Yup'ik Eskimo kids in the village of Quinhagak. Albert Hunter of Kanektok River Safaris, Inc. is the leader for the 4-H Club and they meet every Monday and Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm at the Kuinerrarmuit Elinaurviat. The funding for the program was provided by the 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant, this is part of the after school program. During the summer Kanektok River Safaris, Inc. donates the camp use for two weeks in July for the kids to use under the Youth program from the Native Village of Kwinhagak and the kids get to tie flies and learn the basics of fly casting provided by guest from the sports fish guides from Kanektok River Safaris, Inc. and Dave Duncan and Sons.
