*Uranus*
Uranus is interesting to look at from orbit because it is a very pretty blue and it is tilted on its axis 98 degrees! Uranus is an outer planet, it was the seventh planet from the sun.The distance between Earth and Uranus are constantly changing as both planets orbit around the Sun. If you estimate the distance between them using the average distance of each planet from the Sun, Earth and Uranus are approximately 2.76 billion kilometers apart. This is equivalent to 1.69 billion miles. Uranus is a frozen gaseous planet that is the seventh farthest planet from the Sun, and is the third biggest (14.5 times Earths mass). It has 17 known moons, which are Cordelia, Ophelia, Bianca, Cressida, Desdemona, Juliet, Portia, Rosalind, Belinda, 1986610, Puck, Miranda, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, Oberon, Caliban, and Sycorax. Uranus also has many interesting and exciting features, like its diameter, which is an amazing 31,763 miles.
One day on Uranus is approximately 17.2 Earth hours long, and a Uranus year is 84 Earth years, which means it takes 84 years for it to orbit the Sun. Uranus is so far away from the sun that temperatures drop to 330 degrees Fahrenheit!
My name is Leah Lipke and I am here to tell you why you should build this solar hotel on Uranus. Even though it's is tilted on its side and is really cold it could still be a lot of fun! You could go skiing or snowboarding, or any winter sport you can think of! But just remember DRESS WARMLY! You can have an excellent view of some of the moons and just have a blast! I actually have some pictures of the hotel I thought you could build there it is really nice! Take a look!
