Field Editor
The Field Editor is used to alter field text. To update field text click in the edit window displayed at the top of the page and enter the desired text. Clicking the Update Text button will save the new text. Clearing a text field will effectively remove it from your page.
Field Colors (Click Field Colors at the top of the page)
To change the color of the text or the background color used when the text is presented use the Color Choosers.
Field Styles (Click Field Styles at the top of the page)
Various selection panels are available to control the presentation of text on your page. The style options can be combined so multiple choices can be made. All selected items are highlighted. To choose a presentation option simply click it.
For multi-line fields there is in option called Keep Line Breaks. If this option is on, the line breaks you place in your text when you hit the Enter key will be preserved when your text is displayed. See also Line Breaks.
Your text field can be presented with a background image. The image can either be tiled automatically as wallpaper or by a specified amount across and down. To select an image click Background Image.
Java Version
The Java Editor provides features for formatting text, and inserting common HTML constructs like tables and bullet lists. You can also insert shorthand links to many content objects like Forms, Polls, etc. Click here to see if your browser supports Java.
Formatting
To format a piece of text, first highlight it by dragging your mouse over the text, and then click the Format menu for options. You can also create a link around a piece of text using the Format menu.
Inserting
To insert at a particular spot within your text, left click where you want the insert to occur, and then click the Insert menu for options.
