What is a Popup?

A popup is a collection of quotes or other information that first appears on your page and then in a popup window when someone requests another item in the collection. You can choose a ready-to-use popup from Popular Popups or create your own custom popup using the Popup Designer.

Creating Popups

To create a new popup or modify an existing popup click Popups at the top the Site Editor. From the Popups page you can also view and update your popups.

Placing a Popup onto a Page

To insert manually you must add a shorthand link to your field text or maxlet HTML. The format of the shorthand link you will need is shown below:

Your Own Popup:
~popupembed_popupname~

Popular Popup:
~stdpopupembed_popupname~

For example, if you have created a popup named "favoritesayings" and you want to display it on one of your pages you would add the following to your field text or maxlet HTML:

~popupembed_favoritesayings~
