Mid State Literacy

The Mid-State Literacy Council is a not-for-profit organization that offers instruction to adult in need of basic reading, writing, spelling, computation, and English conversation skills. The Council's students require the skills that will help them with the basic demands of daily living.

The Council trains volunteer tutors to work one-one-one with its students as part of one of its three main programs. *Basic Literacy Program *English as a Second Language *Family Literacy Program
