We are believers in spirits, life in outer space, crop circles, and anything else that seems unexplained. Our Beliefs We know there are people out there who think us ghost hunters are all crazy. Saying "there's no such thing as ghosts, aliens, ect. And thats fine. But with all the evidence out there I find it hard to believe that they find it impossible. I myself believe that there are spirits among us. For some reason they were unable to move on to the other side. They have unfinished business here on earth and will continue to roam and haunt until its finished. When it comes to aliens and crop circles, I do believe there are other living beings in space. I don't believe they are "little green men". I don't know what they look like or what they are trying to accomplish with crop circles. As for cattle mutilations and other odd things supposedly done by the "aliens", I think of it this way, If they are anything like our scientist here on earth, When they find something new, they want to collect samples of it and study it. Maybe were ever they are from they don't have animals. I'm not frightened by any of this. Spirits normally mean no harm. Aliens are just collecting info. List of Haunted Places In Southwest Missouri We will add to this list as we find places that have shown activity. ...............Woodlock Cemetery In Davisville Missouri At Woodlock, people have reported hearing people talking in the woods, strange lights, and hearin horse hooves near them. Snelson-Brinker Cabin on Hwy 8 At the cabin people have reported hearing a young childs scream coming from the direction of the well house, a strange misty light moving in the direction of the grave of the little girl and weird noises from the cabin its self. Pine Hill Cemetery in St. James Missouri This cemetery has alot of spiritual activity. Several strange things have happened on our visits to this place. Read about them below. I have yet to find a site on the web about this cemetery. Known by the locals as Spook Hollow. Town of Keysville. Located not far from my house. Used to be an up and coming town, now is nothing more than a back road with abandoned houses. Our Experiences at Woodlock Cemetery We have visited Woodlock four times. Nothing exceptional happened the first three times. The last time we visited the cemetery in early September 2004, we found a new padlock on the gates. Due to vadalism in the past several months, this was predicted. As we neared the gate, we heard what sounded like heavy log chains being moved in the cemetery. Thinking nothing of it, Tony climbed the side wall and walked up the stair case. He was up there about five minutes then came back down. He said he could hear noises all around him and couldn't make out where they were coming from. He said one sounded like a horse was walking right behind him but nothing was there when he turned around. The rest of us, not wanting to be arrested for trespassing, decided against climbing the wall. We stood by the gate talking about how we felt being at this place when the overwelming feeling of being watched took over. We decided at that point to leave. I felt as though we were not wanted there. As we were pulling away, Betty and I caught a glimpse of eyes peering out of the trees on the hill. I believe this place has evil in it. Just the feelings you get while being there. Our experiences at Snelson-Brinker Cabin The Snelson-Brinker Cabin was built in the 1800's for residential use. It went on to be the very first Crawford County Court House. It is the oldest building in the county. While used as a home, the owners two year old daughters was drowned in the nearby creek by their slave girl Mary. Mary lived in the little shack on the right of the cabin. She was hung in what is now downtown Steelville. The little girl and Mary are said to still haunt the property. ****On our outing to the cabin, it was about midnight. We went up to the cabin which was locked. Tony and Mike were looking in the windows and checking it out. The rest of us were looking around just taking everything in, We had been there about 20 minutes without anything happening and thought it was a waste of time. Just then both Amber and I happen to glance toward the woods where the little girl is supposed to be buried, and saw a misty light coming toward us. We decided not to stick around and ran back to the vehicles. As the guys were coming back to the parking lot they claim they saw a dark figure "floating" along the highway when they looked away it was gone. We then left and went on with our hunt. Pine Hill Cemetery Pine HIll is on a gravel road the locals call Spook Hollow. About three miles before you get to the cemetery, there is a pyramid shaped building,(which is no longer visable from the road).This was at one time owned by a doctor who would take in and care for elderly folks who had no family. He would care for them for a month or two then kill them and bury them around the place. Then he would continue to collect they're social security checks and pocket the money. Some of the victims were buried in the cemetery some around the outside of the pyramid. Next there is an old abandoned school bus on the left side of the road in the trees. At one time a pychotic man was living in it. He killed two young women and a man one night and fled. He was caught a few days later and sent to prison. Finally the cemtery itself. There are tales of satanic worship in the cemetery, This place dates back to the 1700's. Supposedly those who were accused of witchcraft and were excuted are buried in unmarked graves here. The locals tell tales of people being run off the road by a car and the car vanishes. Or being chased by "ghostly" dogs what they call hell hounds. Gunshots are heard on a regular basis. Strange lights along the road and in the cemetery. A very dangerous place. Our experience near Pine Hill Cemetery The first trip we took out to spook hollow we didn't even make it to the cemetery. About three miles before the graveyard a woman "appeared" in the road as we came around a curve. As we passed her she turned to us and we saw that her face was covered in blood. We drove up and found a place to turn around. She was already up to the truck. She grabbed the window and started yelling let me in over and over. She told us she had wrecked her car. To make a long story short. We got help and decided against going to the cemetery. Our second trip out there, we made it out to the cemetery. I felt very uncomfortable there and didn't get out of the car. Mike and Nikki started to get out, stood by the car for a few minutes talking then heard something hard hit the metal barrel they use as a trash can out there. They jumped back in the car. As we left something was running behind the car, and myself and JoJo heard a voice say "go". Well when we got to the gas station Betty noticed a facial imprint on the passenger side mirror. Small, like a child had pressed there face against it. It hadnt been there before. Also there were hand prints on the back of the vehicle that hadnt been there before. The place isnt too bad in the daytime but I will not go there at night. That is the one place that freaks me out. Know of Anymore? Have any places you think are haunted? Vandalism is a crime. Clean up after yourself. Don't leave trash and don't destroy anything.
