ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS...
1. How are the listings obtained?
Compling a list of opportunities requires constant searching. The listing acutally come from many different sources including government agencies, industry associations, trade directories, advertisements, and telephone surveys of certain types of businesses. Of course, some companies write in asking to be listed, but most of the time it's not that easy.
2. How do I know these listings ar legitimate opportunities?
Each listing has been verified, and those firms which write in asking to be listed are screened with special care. To the best of our knowledge, there have been no reports of deceptive practices among the employers listed.
3. Is it better to send a letter of interest or a resume?
That depends. If an employer has a preference, it will be stated. Most of the time, a letter of interest is best. A resume is better in case of a high level of education and experience is required.
4. Will I have to pay money to work for any of these companies?
Just as a general rule, you should always be wary of any employer that requires money to work for them. There are exceptions, however. Positons in sales often require a deposit for a sales kit to get started. Never pay money to a company if you don't know exactly what the job is and what you are getting for your money. All of the listings here, that require money upfront will refund your money if you change your mind and return the kit in reusable condition.
