Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year every one!!The Nissan Skyline is one of the favourites in motor car racing. With the release of the R34 Skyline(in Jan 99) there has been a big improvement in the manufacturing and parts. Please have a look of some of the pics I have here. This car is the ultimate performance car of the century. The engine is a 2.6 litre DOHC 24 valve inline 6 cylinder and it is equipped with twin ceramic turbochargers and a high capacity intercooler. The Skyline GT-R contains the ATTESA E-TS electronic torque split system that optimally controls the torque distribution to the front and rear wheels according to driving conditions. It also boasts active LSD for maximum control of the torque split to the right and left rear wheels and ABS. The R34 Skyline is sleeker and faster than the R33, but both boast equally mind blowing performance and handling. The R34 GT-R has a multi-function computer that displays injector speed, exaust temperature, front torque, turbo boost, throttle etc. The front seats in the R34 are just as close you can get to racing buckets but they are still comfortable enough for daily use. Air bags are standard for the driver and passenger, with side bags as an option. The overall impression of the interior is funky and exiting but not childish in any way. The RB26-DETT continues in much the same form as the first GT-R (R32) with the 208 Kw (280 Hp) peak-power rating, but this can be improved dramatically (250 Kw+) with some tuning . To sum it up the R34 is a step ahead of the R33, but only a step because its hard to get any higher when you are standing on top of Mt. Everest. Eat your heart out Porsche and Ferrari, for this car feels and drives like a supercar, but with a price tag of an ordinary sports car. ***NOTE: Do not doubt the Skylines' performance or handling because this will clean up 95% of the cars on the road.*** The NISSAN SKYLINE IS BETTER THAN THE LANCER EVO AND THE BMW M5.
