I've been looking around, and I saw on one great site, that they say the nintendo wonder Yoshi, was the first Pokemon. Of course, it could be true, but we are mot sure. I've been doing research on this, and I have came across possibilities.
1. The horns, the shape, Yoshi could be the light side of Groudon (yet smaller).

I've heard of Pokemon Emerald, for the GBA/SP system. If you are familiar with Crystal version, There are Pokemon animations. Same in Emerald! + new (secret) areas that you can't reach in its build up, R/S.

Now THIS info is confirmed. Fire Red, and Leaf Green! It is a remake of Red/ Blue/ Yellow, but it has 7 reachable Mystery Islands, and with a ticket, 2 extra islands with legends!
You can even trade oldies like Bulbasaur, Caterpie, etc. into Ruby and Sapphire!
This game is a must have! Coming to america Sept. 7th!!!
