| We are Located in the Beautiful Niagara Region ,we are a Private Stable ,we cater to our Clydedales and we also have Gypsy Vanners,we select our Clydesdales and Gypsy Vanners with the utmost care,for Temperment,Size,Colour and Conformation,clydesdales and gypsy vanners are known for their stylish looks,temperment gentleness,the power of love .They are also one breed of the heavy Horse in the world of the "Gentle Giants". We pride ourselves in owning the Beautiful Clydesdale for Showing ,Breeding ,and Riding, with their majastic ,Style ,Beauty,Grace,and loving Temperment,we feel their presence,thundering hoofs and lovely feathers as a wonderful gift from God.
Clydsdales range in height from 17 hh - 19 hands high .Weight of a Clydesdale averages up to 2300 pounds.Young Clydesdales at about 4 months old appears very ungainly ,from his first week he has been nimble on his feet .with a certain springness of his step,and these Characteristics stay with him for life. Clydesdales at 6 months old,have charming personalities and weigh about 750 pounds.
For the First 2 years of their lives have a very charming life they eat ,enjoy themselves ,and really GROW,and with the love of the Human touch,attention and are well cared for during those "Baby Years" .During these years they have long legs and are very playful ,by 2 years they will almost reach his adult height.But does not have the massage Body size .
Our Clydesdales each have their own Stall,Groomed daily,our Barns are keep very clean,and we cater to each ones different needs.Turned out daily to enjoy a romp in our Fields ,that promotes,exercise,viality and a presence of Health as it shows in their Coats when the sun gleams like a shining star in the Sun.
Our Clydesdales love Visitors so when you come to Visit Us ,make sure you have a Carrot or Apple or just give them a pat to say "Hello"

| Our Gypsy Vanners |
 We at Ridgecrest Stables are very proud and pleased to Introduce our newest addition our new yearling Filly named " Lyric" she is out of the famous Stallion named Westminister and her dam is a Imported Shire.
The Gypsy Vanner ,Average Height- 14-15.2 hands.Colors- Piebald (black and white) and skewbald (brown and white) pinto colors are the most common.Colours may also be Solid with White Blaze and 4 white high Stockings, Conformation- The Gypsy Vanner has a powerful, compact body, with a short neck and back. The chest is broad, the hips are heavy, and the withers are round. Temperament- Gypsy Vanners are prized for their gentle dispositions.
Members of this breed often excel in the following disciplines, Driving, Jumping ,Dressage and Riding
Breed History:
The Gypsy Vanner Horse was bred to pull the colorful gypsy caravans of England. The breed is half a century old, and was developed from a combination of Freisian, Clydesdale, Shire, and Dales pony blood. Its docile nature is a result of necessity; gypsy horses have to be patient, gentle, and quiet in order to be safe for pulling caravans and carrying gypsy children, who often ride bareback.

| Working and Training our Young Horses |
 We are a Broodmare Farm for our Clydesdales,Shires and Gypsy Vanners,we work with our 2-3 year olds doing extensive ,ground work with them,once we have broken them to Harness and Saddle,we will sometimes have them for Sale to the Public,we carefully select the Right Horse for you.
Boarding your Horse or Draft at our Private Barn
We also Board Horses we cater mostly to Draft Horses ,are Stalls are 10 x 12 ,with Windows and Rubber matted Floors ,2-3 feedings a Day with Hay,Fresh Water daily,stalls are cleaned often,we Require Payment upfront for the first 3 months.
Additional Bedding,Feed,Supplements are extra at Cost ,Board Starts at $450.00 - $375.00 per month.Depending on requirements of your Horse.With the Cost of Fuel,Feed,Hay rapidly increasing price's,we have the Right to charge more for our Board Costs as prices change for care and feed for your Horse.
