It seems that both X-Pac and Shawn Michaels (as an active wrestler) may be brought back to join in the nWo. In this way, nWo may almost be a Clique reunion, or even a "new age D-generation X". Using the Clique/DX with the nWo name would draw a high buyrate that may also render the nWo/Vince McMahon as a successful storyline. -- If you watched SmackDown! on Thursday, you may have noticed that the announcement of the nWo did not draw much ovation. This is because many fans left immediately after the Rock vs. Angle match and didn't stay to watch Vince's skit at the end of the show. -- Many matches are being rumored for Wrestlemania 18 due to the signing of Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan. Below are the matches rumored to end up taking place: - WWF Undisputed Championship: Chris Jericho vs. Triple H - Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Kevin Nash - The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan - Kurt Angle vs. Scott Hall -- Diamond Dallas Page originally had a role in the movie "Rat Race". In his scene he beat up Cuba Gooding Jr.'s character when he entering DDP's "house on a trailer". The scene was edited out because test audiences didn't think it was funny. However, the scene is available as a bonus on the DVD of "Rat Race". As seen in recent weeks on WWF television and at the Royal Rumble, Tough Enough winner Maven has been getting a fairly strong push by WWF management. The original plan was for Maven to be sent to WWF developmental territories after his Tough Enough win, but his fan support as been way over what the WWF expected. Maven, who participated in this years WWF Royal Rumble PPV and actually eliminated the Undertaker, looks like he is only in the beginning stages of his major push. In a recent interview with TalkSport, it was announced that Chris Harvard, who was also known as the biggest 'heel' in Tough Enough is being brought and will feud with Maven on WWF TV. Over the next few weeks, the WWF will try and push Maven as a major face starting on RAW when he faces Y2J Chris Jericho for the Undisputed World Title. After he is made out to be a face, Harvard is likely to make his debut in the World Wrestling Federation. A feud will then develop between the two. |
