The Ms. Ambassador program was founded in 1999 to encourage and celebrate the evolving role of today's woman in society. In just the past few decades we've seen the roles of women greatly diversify and her opinions, intelligence and abilities have become increasingly more respected. Today's woman is limited only by her imagination and
ambition. The Ms. Ambassador organization's mission is to recognize accomplished women worldwide and give them a forum to stand as examples to other women and young girls worldwide. Each Ms. Ambassador State Titleholder is awarded points based on their activities in the fields of charity volunteerism, community service, personal appearances, talent performances and speaking engagements. At year's end, the American representative earning the most points is awarded the Ms. American Ambassador title and the lady earning the most points worldwide is awarded the Ms. International Ambassador title. The Ms. Ambassador program is not a beauty pageant. Saprina Allen was elected Miss. Teen San Joaquin County Ambassador 2000. Saprina is a junior with a 4.0 GPA, a link crew leader, a member of student government, San Joaquin County Students in Prevention, Future Buisness Leaders of America, and is a member of Ebeneezer AME Church as well as Recording Secratary of The Young Peoples Department and a choir member.
