MTBL Rules
If batter is beaned above the waist, they take their base.
Steals only count from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to home.
The only guaranteed days for games will be Sundays others will be scheduled.
HR?s are over the hedges and over the tape.
If a player can?t make a scheduled game, it will either be forfeited or rescheduled, PRESIDENT?S DISCRESSION!
Teams that are not playing, players will be the umpires.
Uniforms are required-home(DARK) and away(WHITE)
Teams must be set up by March 12,2006, this means team colors, name, players, numbers, information, logo, etc.
Fields will be at Cameron and Patrick?s houses.
Most games will be scheduled earlier in the day for organized baseball players to get their rest, ex.10:00 am
Games will be 5 innings.
ONLY tennis balls.
Wood, metal, and composite bats only.
If there is a catcher he must wear a mask.
If there is no catcher, there will be no stealing.
Will be an All-Star weekend (midseason).
Players and umpires must arrive 10 minutes before each game.
Players must provide own drinks, NO POP.
Approximately 6 games, not including playoffs.
7 games if two teams are tied.
We will try our hardest to find umpires.
If a player gets hurt game will be delayed.
Helmets are not required, but recommended.
NO TAUNTING!!
There will be a stat keeper for each game.
Opening day will most likely be on April 2,2006*
To get the runner out you may throw the ball at him or tag him or throw the ball at the base.
Striking out will go like this you can look at two pitches and there will be two strikes, but in order to strike out looking if the pitcher throws three strikes on the second strike, your out.
All-Star game
A home run derby will be held probably at Cams.
Teams will be made up of 2 US all-stars and 2 LS all-stars.
It will be a 5 inning game.
All rules apply.
This is a non-competitive game, take it easy and have fun.
Playoffs
There will be a conference finals for US and LS.
The conference finals will be a 3 game series.
The winners of the conference finals will move on to the championship series.
The championship series will be best of 5.
A trophy will be handed out to the champions.
The championship series will be held at the Seward Little League ball field.
End of the year ceremonies
We will have a record book written.
