This is the website services page. In order to access it's features you must login to your website.
The Website Services page allows you to add or configure specific website functions and features.
General > Publish Settings
Published Websites - If this option is selected ads are removed from the website.
Once published you will have access to these ad slots for placing your own ads.
FREE Websites - Sponsor ads/images are shown on site pages.
If you would like "shared revenues" images to be displayed set the value to "Yes".
To remove ads from your website publish your site by logging in and clicking services.
File and Image Uploads > Storage
We sell two types of upload space (click for more info): Storage and Upload/Import.
To upload files from your PC or import files from elsewhere on the Internet
click the Storage button or click Upload/Import under the Site Menu of the Site Editor.
To purchase space directly, login and click Site Services.

Storage
Storage is accessed by clicking Storage at the top of the Site Editor.
If you wish to incorporate custom images or other files in your site you can
use the Storage feature to do this. Once images are uploaded from your PC,
they can be accessed via the Image List under the category name Storage.
Upload/Import vs. Storage
Both Upload/Import and Storage allow you to upload custom files to the Internet.
Upload/Import files are stored on the same server as your website.
Storage files are stored on a third-party server.
The Storage user-interface is newer and has features the Upload/Import interface does not have.

Cost
The Storage service in not free.
We charge for the storage space required by the files you upload.

We offer upload space at an annual cost for 1MB (1,000,000 bytes) of space.
After you upload a file, the amount of space needed to store it is calculated
and you have the option of purchasing the space or cancelling the request.
Login and click Storage to upload a file.
Login and click Services to purchase Storage Space in advance.
File Size Limits
The maximum size for a 'single file' is 8MB (8000000 bytes).
Extension Costs
All space purchased must expire on the same date.
When purchasing new space any existing space you own must be extended to the new expiration date.
Extension charges for existing space are calculated at the time you purchase additional space.
Accessing Uploaded Files
The file detail display of the Storage user-interface shows the location of the file's URL.
Image and sound file displays also include HTML which can be pasted into a field or maxlet HTML property.

Uploaded images can be displayed via the page Image List or Image Browser.
They are placed under the category name 'Storage' in the image select menu.

Accessing Uploaded/Imported Files
Once files have been uploaded or imported they will be placed in the following location:
http://maxpages.com/files/yoursitesname.
For example, if your site is called yoursitesname and you uploaded a file called myfile.zip,
you would access your file as
http://maxpages.com/files/yoursitesname/myfile.zip or files/yoursitesname/myfile.zip.
Using a shorthand link you would have something like DOWNLOAD NOW!.
Accessing Uploaded/Imported Images
Uploaded and imported images can be displayed via the Image Browser.
They are placed under the category name Uploads.

Image List
Image List
The Image List is a set of 26 images (A-Z) available for use anywhere in your site.
Page Images (1-9) are similar, but each page has its own set of page images.
The Image List button is always available at the top of the editor.
The Page Images button is available whenever you are editing a page.
To set the value for an image slot click the slot (A-Z or 1-9) to go to the Image Browser.
From there you can select an image from our catalog,
or if you have uploaded your own images you can select one of them.
Uploaded images are stored under categories Images/Storage and Images/Uploads.
Placing an Image onto a Page
1) Freeform Page Editor
When editing a Freeform page you can use the Insert/Image menu option to jump to one of the image lists.
There you will see an Insert button next to each image which can be clicked to place that image on your page.
Note that a slot must have an image assigned to it in order for the Insert button to appear.
2) Page Fields, Site Fields, and Maxlet HTML Properties
An image can be inserted directly into your text using a special code.
The code is the ^ character followed by the letter (A-Z) or number (1-9)
corresponding to the desired image. For instance, the sequence ^A
would be replaced by the image associated with Image A.
Note, there can be no spaces between the ^ and the A.
3) Field/HTML Sample:
Suppose you used the Image Browser to associate the image
Graphics/Icons/Email/Mail1 with Image A.
If your text contained the following:
We welcome everyone on earth ^A.
Your page would render like this:
We welcome everyone on earth
