More of the flowers

Au revoir... Oh, wait... No, that Bye-Bye in French, umm... ummm... Oh, never mind! HELLO, AGAIN!!! Right, now that we're all calm, I'd like to WRITE a few words... Firstly, since you've been so good, (If you have been...) I've decided to tell you a little more of the story! Would you like to hear some more of the story??? I'll take that as a 'yes!' OK, well, here we go, then... ‘Ami, my dear!’ said Ami’s mother as Ami stepped through the door and shut it, ‘How was school today?’ Ami shook her snow-covered hair, dumped her bag on the floor and said ‘It was OK, I got plenty of homework though!’ Ami’s mother looked down at Ami’s bag where a few pieces of paper were hanging out of it. ‘Ah well!’ she exclaimed, ‘Fred and I will help you with it!’ Ami suddenly wrenched her head up and stared at her mother, ‘Fred? Is he OK? Where is he? Can I see-’ ‘Goodness gracious, child!’ said her mother, ‘Yes, yes, yes, he’s fine, he’s fine! Don’t be so worried about him, it was just a small illness!’... OK, and that's all you're reading from THIS website! The book hasn't even come out yet, you're really lucky I wrote some of it down for you to reed! Umm... Gotta go, now, ergent buisness, see you later, BYE!

I'm giving you more...

Hi, again! Listen, I hope you've been good... Because I am now going to tell you the next part of the story, so, here we go... ‘Well, yes, that is true,’ mumbled her mother, frowning slightly and putting her finger on her chin thoughtfully, ‘Well, he’s up in his room right now, but don’t just-’ But Ami did not wait for any more words. She slid out from her mother’s hazel eyes and ran up the staircase towards Fred’s room. When she got there, she burst open the door. Fred, who was lying on the bedclothes looked up. ‘Ami!’ he grinned. He got out of bed, crossed over the room, stopped in front of Ami, and gave her a large hug. ‘I hear you’re very much well again, Freddy,’ said Ami accepting Fred’s hug and roughly repeating it to him. ‘Oh, yeah!’ replied Fred, letting go of Ami carelessly and grasping her shoulders tightly between his pale hands, ‘Listen, how was school today? I’ve got to help you with your homework, I said no matter what!’ he let go of Ami’s shoulders and told her to sit down on the fresh duvet. ‘Thanks!’ she said gratefully, sitting down next to Fred and looking at him through sparkling eyes, ‘Mum told me.’ Just then, the doorbell rang. Fred and Ami exchanged exhausted looks. ‘Dad!’ they mumbled. They got up off the bed, strode over to the door, opened it and strode downstairs to greet they’re Dad. ‘Ah, evening, Fred and Ami!’ called their father gleefully when he saw them walking down to meet him. ‘And good morning, Susan!’ he added looking straight past Ami and Fred and staring at the top of the staircase. Fred and Ami twirled round. At the top of the staircase was a teenager girl, looking as though she had just woken up in the morning from having only half an hour of sleep. It was Ami’s eldest sister, Susan. ‘Hi, Su,’ said Fred’s voice from behind Ami. ‘Hi,’ Susan replied, and although she still looked very tired, her voice was perfectly straight... And that's all! I'll write something later, but, right now... SEE YAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

The second page

‘Right, tea I think!’ said their Dad, licking his lips and rubbing his hands together, ‘Susan, put the kettle on, won’t you, darling? And, Jane, I think we’ll have fried egg and chips today, alright?’ The children’s mother nodded politely and wheeled round to grab some eggs that she could fry for tea. Susan came back with tea for the two adults and her self about five minutes later and had sat down at the table with out a word. About half an hour later, Jane came round with two fried eggs each and also a portion of chips. ‘Here you go, Archie.’ She said patiently. Archie smiled up at his wife for a few seconds, then, he stared back down at his neat portion of food. When Jane had sat down on her flowery chair, everyone started to eat politely. Ami finished first, but she waited patiently until everyone else had finished and they had all cleared up their plates, and when everyone had started talking distractedly, she slipped out of the kitchen, rushed upstairs, ran into her room onto her bed and slid off to sleep Ami woke up early next morning. Her alarm had gone off early, but she didn’t mind. She switched it off, got out of bed, yawned widely and grabbed her school clothes to change into for nine o’clock, when school started. When Ami strode out of her room wearing a sweatshirt with the logo "Marleys high" on it, however, she found that she was not the only one awake. Susan was sitting bolt upright on her chair at the table, politely waiting until everyone had come down so that they could all have their breakfast together. ‘Hey, Su!’ called Ami from the top of the staircase. Susan looked up. ‘Oh, hi, Ami,’ she mumbled, staring back down at her plate again. ‘Never seen you up this early before!’... BYE, NOW!!!

Crocus, Snow-drop and Mistletoe

Hi, again! Now, I'd like to tell you a story! Ami stepped aside onto the snowy, crowded pavement. She tried to see over a mans head, but she was too small. She wanted to know what was going on, everyone was crowded around a lamp-post, which obviously had a sign pinned to it. She soon found out why everyone was so excited though. ‘A holiday to Holland?’ shouted an old woman, from the front of the crowd. ‘A trip to Scotland?’ said a middle-aged man near the front, ‘And all just if you find two red bet tickets?’ Ami rolled her eyes. This thing happened almost every day, one week, to be precise. She walked away from the bustling crowd and back onto the road. Why were they always so excited? They could get an even better offer the next week, or the next, she didn’t know why they bothered to be so excited about it... And you'll have to find what happens next by readind Crocus, Snow-drop and Mistletoe, by Polly Barker. Anyway, I think that's all I need to write for now! I'll see you later!
