| For Those Who Are Confused About Their Sexuality |

| You've looked at someone of your sex "that way" before. You're confused and a little scared. Ok now, deep breaths, deep calming breaths. Just because you were attracted to someone of your own sex doesn't mean you are gay. Part of growing up and being a teenager is discovering your sexuality, and throughout this time you may end up having crushes on people of your sex. But being gay or bi is so definite, you have to be very sure in order to say thats part of your sexuality. Just because you think a guy or a girl is attractive, doesn't mean your really gay. It means you have a lot of thinking to do. Here's the best thing I can say to help anyone confused or curious about their sexuality. You have lots and lots of time. You don't need to come out right now, or even in the next ten years. People live their whole lives unsure of who they really are. That's why you find 40 and 50 year old people all of a sudden discovering they've been gay all along. Just enjoy being unsure, explore both men and women if you need to. Don't get all nervous and think you're gay or whatever until you have no question in your mind that you aren't. |
